About Activator Method

The Activator Method is a low-force chiropractic technique that uses a small, spring-loaded handheld instrument to deliver precise, controlled thrusts to specific spinal and extremity joints. It is one of the most thoroughly studied instrument-assisted chiropractic adjustment (spinal manipulation) approaches in the profession and is now the second most commonly used form of manipulation among American chiropractors. Dr. Brett A. Moss incorporates it at Moss Chiropractic of Inverness as part of an individualized assessment-and-care protocol. Patients who prefer a gentler approach, or whose health history makes high-velocity manual thrusting inadvisable, often find this technique well suited to their needs.
