About Cox Flexion-Distraction
Cox Flexion-Distraction is a specific, hands-on chiropractic technique that uses a specially engineered table to apply gentle, rhythmic traction and flexion forces to the lumbar spine. The procedure is designed to increase the height of intervertebral disc spaces, reduce intradiscal pressure, and restore normal spinal range of motion without high-velocity thrusting. It is particularly well-studied for Low Back Pain and conditions involving disc pathology. Dr. Brett A. Moss has applied this technique in clinical practice for nearly three decades at Moss Chiropractic of Inverness.
